The problem

Porsche Cars North America, Inc. (Porsche) is recalling certain 2024 Boxster and Cayman vehicles. The risk

A transmission that does not lock into park as intended may result in a vehicle roll away, increasing the risk of a crash.

What to do

Dealers will replace the shift cable, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed July 3, 2024. Owners may contact Porsche customer service at 1-800-767-7243. Porsche's number for this recall is ARA7.
