The product
The recalled Soft Farm Set, style number 76626, is a polyester/cotton barn with polyester/cotton farm animals and accessories: chicken with legs, duck with legs, dog, pig, cow, horse, 2 fences, a bale of hay and a pond.
The hazard
The legs of the chicken and duck figures may detach, posing a risk of choking.
What to do (per CPSC)
Consumers should stop using the toy immediately and either remove the legs from the chicken and duck figures or contact Lands' End to receive a full refund. Purchasers were sent direct mail notification of this recall.
Notes
Incidents (per CPSC): Lands' End has received one report of detached legs. No injuries have been reported.
Sold at: Lands' End Inc. catalog and web site sold these sets nationwide, from January 2002 to April 2002, for about $34.
